Dear Friends, terrible events take place all over the world all the time; and as child friendly as our community is, as great a place to raise children as it is, as family oriented as we are, apparently, Saipan is no exception.
Something terrible has happened in our small island community, two young girls are missing. They've been missing since last Wednesday. You can read about it here. Police and residents are working together to locate the girls and bring them to safety. Prayers for these young sisters are being offered around the clock.
Please join us in prayer for Faloma Luhk and Meleina Luhk, ten and nine years old, respectively. Here is today's article and also a FB prayer page for them.
If you know of any information about this, please come forward and contact our police or Crime Stoppers at 234-7272.

Stoked and Stocked
Look at what was passed on to me:

I'm so excited; all I want to do is stay home and sew. I'm most excited about the dresses. Sadly, since I inherited this lot, I haven't had the chance to try out one pattern. Thank you Auntie Debbie! God is good - all the time.

Whew!
Wow, my friends, it's been a while. So much has happened. I would love to just send you over to my other blog to catch you up with all that's been going on in my life. Unfortunately, things have been so crazy, I haven't been able to regularly update that blog either. But I'm back and I'm going to try to stay on top of things.
There are some things that I'm really excited about and I'm going to spread them into several posts for you. You know, keeping it fresh and all. Or just trying to ride out as many posts as I can so I'm not wasting money on this domain.
Aaanyhoo....
I'm teaching my niece how to knit! Sort of. I taught her how to cast on and showed her the basic knit and purl stitches and then I leant her the same book I used after our dear family friend taught me the basics some 13 years ago.

That black WIP there? That's her first ever knitting. She did so well, don't you think? So well that I got all excited and went out and bought her her first pair of needles and yarn. I can't wait to see what she turns out.
