I would go to Comi-Con for Avatar alone.

We decided to watch The Last Airbender on opening weekend. It was the second movie we had ever taken the kids to see in the theater, it was also an impromptu decision. It was an awesome impromptu decision!

Sure, many fans of Nickolodeon's original animated series were sorely disappointed with the movie. Ah, but friends, I was not a fan. In fact, other than just knowing that a TV show called Avatar existed, I was totally ignorant to the amazing ways of the four nations. Despite some issues with the acting, we enjoyed the movie. So much so that on the way home from the theater, we stopped by the video store and rented as many episodes of the original Avatar as we could. And that was it. It was all over. We were hooked. Avatar: The Last Airbender is the greatest animated series ever! Eh-ver!



Yeah huh, I made those.



I originally made them as play clothes, but they're also going to be used as Halloween costumes.



I love Avatar so much, I would actually go to Comi-Con for it.



Yes, I made a costume for myself.



And for James as well.



I'll show you our costumes later on. Any idea who we'll be? Well, I'll sort of help you out, we aren't going to be specific characters.
