Nuff Said
I made reduced sugar mango jam. This jam has half the sugar as my regular Island Flavor Mango Jam, with the same silky texture and sweet ripe mango flavor. More to come...

Of all the things....
Of all the things I can make, I can't make cards and I can't scrapbook. I'm not a paper craft person, but it's looking like my daughter might be. Yes, I did help a little, but check out the cards Katelyn made:

Phenomenal Guava Jam!
I found a new favorite jam - no, I made my new favorite jam - guava jam! Now I know this blog is all about featuring what I make, but I still try not to be too boastful about it . . . but I gotta say, this guava jam is the best guava jam in the whole wide world!
Toot toot! (That's me, tooting my own horn.)

This was from my first batch. The other batches developed a much deeper guava color, I will post more later. As usual, this Island Flavor Guava Jam was made with fresh tree-ripened organic guavas.
I've worked out some new health conscious mango jams. Keep checking in.

Katelyn's Bag
Katelyn's school does not allow bags with characters on them, but I don't think there is a restriction on flowers. So I made her this little zippered messenger.

This was the first time I inserted a zipper on a messenger type bag. It really was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I'm going to do a lot more zippered work in the future. And then my next challenge will be button holes!

I have no idea why I thought Katelyn was as tall as I am, I made the handle way too long and had to shorten it to her size.

See the dress Katelyn's wearing? I made that for her for Halloween last year and it finally fits her. When I gave her the bag, she recognized the pink fabric as the same fabric from the dress, so she ran to her drawers to pull it out and wear the two together. In fact, she's enjoyed wearing the dress at home nearly every day this week. She even asked me to make her more dresses! I better jump on that, one day she'll be too old to want to wear clothes mom made.
